Going Home

I am sitting in a Starbucks in Laughlin, NV, where I have been... stitching a book (what else?) I just got off a shuttle from McCartan airport in Las Vegas, where I flew in from visiting my family near Portland.

This book is nearly done, but I won't be able to post anything tonight because I stil l have no working computer at home. I sm speaking to you now from my lovely and trusty new Kindle... on which the battery is perilously low.

Many more books coming ss food as my computer is back up and running--hopefully tomorrow.

Stay tuned.

  1. Hello, Donna! I am really impressed by your amazing blog and idea about a book every day! there is so much inspiration!! I love your job! Sometimes I make small notebooks as gifts, but I am so much in recycling last years that it`s hard to decide what to do first...I wish you a creative and happy New Year and a lot of new ideas!

  2. I happened on your blog today and was fascinated by your creativity--so much so that I wrote a blog post over at Boston.com, where I write about publishing and writing: http://boston.com/community/blogs/creative_type/2012/01/arizona_woman_making_one_book.html

I thought my readers would love to follow your work and see what you've accomplished since Day One. Love your creativity!

  4. Wow, I just read through this post again. Sorry for all the typos. I'm still getting used to typing on my Kindle. Even with my new stylus, it's not easy. Tiny, tiny keys. Sorry!

Heather - Hmmm, a felted wool cover. Great idea. I'll see what I can find.
